On Saturday, January 10th around 10 AM we had another great food distribution event at Ronselli Park in the City of Sweetwater, Florida.

Once again this food drive was kindly hosted by The City of Sweetwater Commissioners who helped our team by packing the food and handing it out to elderly individuals, hard-working immigrants, and other people in need from the Sweetwater area.

As always, the food we distributed was kindly provided by Farm Share. Some of the food we distributed was orange juice, almond milk, water, bread, and mangoes.

Despite the unexpected cold weather, we had a great time at our first food distribution event of the year 2023 giving food to the community near Cotson Park in the City of Hialeah in Florida. 

Before the official time of the event, 10 AM, we already had a line of cars with immigrants, elderly people, and families in need eager to receive our food donations, provided by the generous people of Farm Share.

This event was made possible with help of the City Of Hialeah Department of Parks and Recreation and The Commissioners of that city. Our friend Maury Ramos from KMJ Playboxing contributed to our organization by providing us with volunteers to help pack and hand food bags to incoming people and cars. Some of the food we distributed was pasta, tomato sauce cans, bread, raisins, and bagels.

On the morning of Saturday, December 10th we had a successful free food distribution event at Ronselli Park in the City of Sweetwater, Florida.

This food drive was made possible by The City of Sweetwater Commissioners, who kindly hosted the event. Troop 83 from the Boy Scouts of America enthusiastically helped us by lending their hands packing the food and giving it out to the people from the Sweetwater community and surrounding areas that came to the event. They were also helpful in cleaning up with our team, in order to leave the park as clean as it was before the event.

The food was kindly provided by Farm Share. Some of the food we distributed was yogurts, cucumbers, muffins, and milk. We had a big turnout and were able to give food to sizeable families, including hard-working immigrants and elderly individuals.

On October 29th we had our first free food distribution event at the warehouse next to our Doral, South Florida office location.

The event was made in partnership with the fellow Miami non-profit organization S.T.E.P.S. in the Right Direction. The food was generously provided by Farm Share.

We were able to help feeding dozens of families with bread, cucumbers, French beans, limes, cookies and other food products. Thankfully we brought a smile to many people’s faces.
